With pre-Biblical usage in ancient Egypt, myrrh is one of the oldest spices in history. It has been used as a flavoring for food, medicine, painkiller, disinfectant and most famously, a perfume. It’s sweet-smoky fragrance is distinctive, and when mixed with a carrier oil, creates a tempting and timeless scent. Here, myrrh essential oil is combined with pure olive oil harvested from olives grown around Jerusalem’s hills. Olive oil is rich in antioxidants and an excellent moisturizer.
