It is famed for its medicinal and healing properties, as well as the tempting, timeless fragrance. It is famously combined with myrrh, one of the oldest spices in history. It has been used as a flavoring for food, medicine, painkiller, disinfectant and most famously, a perfume. Its sweet-smoky fragrance is distinctive, and when mixed with a carrier oil, creates a tempting and timeless scent. Here, these essential oils are mixed with pure olive oil harvested from olives grown around Jerusalem’s hills. Olive oil is rich in antioxidants and an excellent moisturizer.
